Dry
Remove loose dust before water touches the trim
Start with the vacuum's soft brush attachment or a clean microfiber duster. Follow the top ledge, face, and floor seam in one continuous run. Dry removal keeps dust from turning into gray streaks when you wash.
If the brush attachment could mark a delicate finish, hold it just off the surface and let the suction do the work.
- Move small furniture and floor baskets away from the wall
- Vacuum the top lip, face, corners, and floor edge
- Use a dry soft brush for grooves and decorative profiles
