Terms of Service

La La Land Cleaning is a DBA of Ascend Cleaning.

Welcome to La La Land Cleaning. By booking a cleaning or using any of our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms are a binding agreement between you (“Client,” “you”) and La La Land Cleaning (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Services Provided

La La Land Cleaning offers residential and commercial cleaning services across Los Angeles. Specific services, pricing, and availability may vary and are subject to change without notice.

2. Booking & Payment

Bookings are accepted via phone, website, or third-party platforms. Payment is due in full upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to require a deposit or pre payment or certain appointments (e.g., move-out cleanings, large properties). All payments are processed securely via our authorized payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Square).

3. Refund & Withholding Policy

All sales are final. We do not guarantee refunds, and we reserve the right to withhold any refunds in cases including but not limited to:

  • Last-minute cancellations
  • Service interruptions caused by the client (e.g., no access to the property)
  • Dissatisfaction claims not reported within 24 hours of service completion
  • Violation of safety, cleanliness, or access requirements that prevent us from performing our duties
  • Abuse of our refund or complaint policies

Refunds, if issued, are at the sole discretion of La La Land Cleaning

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a $50 late cancellation fee. Missed appointments or no-shows may be charged the full service rate.

5. Safety & Access

For safety reasons, our cleaners will not move heavy furniture, handle biohazards, or clean in unsafe environments. Client must ensure cleaners have unobstructed access to the property at the scheduled time. Pets must be secured, and property alarms should be deactivated prior to service.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your cleaning, notify us within 24 hours and we will attempt to resolve the issue with a complimentary touch-up or partial credit, at our discretion.

7. Property Damage & Liability

We are fully licensed and insured, and take reasonable steps to prevent damage. Any damage must be reported to us within 24 hours. La La Land Cleaning is not responsible for: Pre-existing damage, Items not securely fastened, Wear-and-tear issues (e.g., loose handles, old grout).

Independent Contractor Disclaimer:

In cases where services are performed by independent contractors, La La Land Cleaning acts solely as a referral and coordination platform. While we vet all service providers for quality and reliability, we do not accept liability for damages, losses, or misconduct caused by contractors who are not employees of La La Land Cleaning. You agree to hold La La Land Cleaning harmless for any such incidents.

8. Use of Independent Contractors

La La Land Cleaning exclusively utilizes independent contractors to perform cleaning services. These contractors are carefully vetted for professionalism, reliability, and quality of work, and are required to carry their own insurance and operate in accordance with state and local regulations.

By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that: Independent contractors are not employees of La La Land Cleaning. We act solely as a coordination and scheduling platform between you and the contractor. While we strive to maintain high standards, La La Land Cleaning is not liable for any actions, omissions, damages, or injuries caused by contractors. Any concerns, damages, or disputes must be reported to us within 24 hours and we will make reasonable efforts to help facilitate a resolution, but we do not guarantee restitution or assume legal responsibility for the conduct or performance of independent contractors.

This model allows us to deliver flexible, responsive, and high-quality service — while keeping pricing competitive for our clients.

9. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service to any customer for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Unsafe working conditions
  • Disrespectful behavior
  • Repeated no-shows or cancellations
  • Nonpayment or dispute of valid charges

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Photos for Quality & Marketing Purposes

To ensure quality control and accurate documentation of our services, La La Land Cleaning and its independent contractors reserves the right to take before and after photos of the areas being cleaned. By booking a service with us, you acknowledge and consent to the following:

Photos may be taken before and after your cleaning to document the condition of the property and verify service completion. These photos are used solely for internal training, insurance, documentation, or promotional purposes (e.g., marketing materials, website, or social media), and are never shared with identifying details unless we receive your written permission. All photos are securely stored and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

If you do not wish for any photos to be used for marketing, please let us know in writing prior to your scheduled cleaning.

12. Use of AI-Generated or Enhanced Marketing Material

Certain images, visuals, or marketing materials displayed on our website, advertisements, or other promotional content may be generated, enhanced, or stylized using artificial intelligence or similar technologies for branding and illustrative purposes.

Such materials are intended to represent the La La Land Cleaning brand and values and may not depict real individuals, exact likenesses, or literal photographs. While some visual content may be AI-generated or artistically rendered, all representations regarding our services, business operations, ownership, policies, and customer offerings are truthful and accurate.

Use of AI-generated or enhanced content does not affect the authenticity of the services provided by La La Land Cleaning.
